The 15th Century Arming Doublet is a fitted garment built to wear under plate armor, combining historical detail with practical function. Fabric covered buttons run down the front, paired with long sleeves and buttoned cuffs, while a short collar and a seam at the waist give it a tailored, period silhouette.

Cutouts at the armpits allow for full range of motion, and grommets at the shoulders and waist let you attach separate armor pieces such as pauldrons or thigh armor directly to the doublet, making it a functional base layer for a full plate harness rather than just a costume piece.

Made from 100% cotton with polyester-wool padding inside, this doublet stays breathable and comfortable through long days at events. Note that this is a comfort and structural layer, not rated for HEMA sparring or full contact combat use.

Available in Black, Blue, Brown, or Green, sized Small through XX-Large.
