The Red Dragon Synthetic Cutlass is a durable synthetic sword designed for controlled sparring, partner drills, solo practice, and more. Based on historical cutlass designs, it combines a distinctive naval sword profile with the practical benefits of a low-maintenance synthetic construction.
The blade is engineered to flex in the final third toward the tip, while an internal high-tensile steel rod reinforces the blade-to-hilt connection. The thermoplastic elastomer grip provides a secure hold and helps absorb vibration during use.
The rounded guard and pommel are designed with controlled contact in mind. The modular Red Dragon system also allows compatible components to be interchanged for customization.
